Beyblade Metal Fusion

Beyblade: Metal Fusion, known in Japan as Metal Fight Beyblade (メタルファイト ベイブレード Metaru Faito Beibureedo?) is aJapanese manga production by Takafumi Adachi. It is also an anime production based on the original. It is currently being serialized by the monthly CoroCoro Comic (Shogakukan). It ties up the hobby "Beyblade".

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beyblade: Metal Fusion is a spin-off of the original Beyblade anime series, and was created by Tatsunoko Pro, Synergy SP, and is co-produced by Nelvana.[1] Metal Fight Beyblade airs every Sunday at 8:30 am on TV Tokyo. This Beyblade series features a complete new set of characters, and a new story.[edit]
Plot summary

With a new series being developed in 2008 from the Beyblade series that once concluded with Bakuten Shoot Beyblade, a media mix developed with the anime as well as the manga.

In contrast to previous work which uses the Shijin (Chinese Constellations) as motifs, Beyblade: Metal Fusion uses Universal Constellations as motifs. Also, in the previous work it was mainly team battles, but in this work it is mainly individual battles. Furthermore, Japan was the setting in the first series up until the end.

The first part was from second part, becoming the Battle Bladers arc. In the anime, from Episode 24 became the Battle Bladers arc and was recently released on DVD as well from Vol. 01. Although Battle Bladers was held as a tournament, the battle combinations in the anime and manga differ.

The Beyblade: Metal Fusion anime was broadcast by TV Tokyo from April 5, 2009 to March 28, 2010. From April 4, 2010 a new series, Metal Fight Beyblade Explosion started broadcasting. On August 7, 2010, Beyblade: Metal Fusion started airing in the UK on Nickelodeon and in The Netherlands on August 23, 2010 on Disney XD.

[edit]Manga

The chapters of the Metal Fight Beyblade manga are written and illustrated by Takafumi Adachi. In Japan, they have been published inShogakukan's Monthly CoroCoro comics since September 2008.[2] The plot follows the adventures of Ginga Hagane, a beyblader who is searching for his hidden past. He eventually meets up with a boy named Kenta Yumiya, and the two become fast friends. Kyouya Tategami, and Benkei from the Face Hunters become good guys and aid Ginga on his quest to defeat the evil Dark Nebula organization. One of the recruits of the Dark Nebula Organization are Subasa Otori,

An airing anime adaptation, produced by Tatsunoko Pro and Synergy SP, co-produced by Nelvana premiered on TV Tokyo on April 5, 2009.[3]

Since Metal Fight Beyblade's debut, twenty chapters have been released in Japan so far. In the Monthly CoroCoro comics, the chapters do not have names, but rather an arc name and chapter number instead. The chapter names are only in the shinshoban manga volumes.

The individual chapters are collected by Shogakukan in a series of shinshōbon volumes. The first volume was released on March 27, 2009.[4]The latest volume is four, released on March 26, 2010.[5]

The anime version of Beyblade: Metal Fusion's plot is written differently than in the manga. One notable difference is that in the manga, the characters Beys transform for its upgrade, while in the anime, they just switch parts or get an entirely new Bey. Another notable difference is that in the manga, the characters started off with the Metal System,(4-piece top) while in the anime they started with the Hybrid Wheel System (5-piece top). Some parts of the story are different in the anime version than in the manga, but overall the plot is the same.

[edit]Anime

The original Beyblade series led Nelvana to many awards and won the toy of the year award in 2002 and 2003. Since that time many toys and series had been produced in the North America and Asia, but many of them had not prospered. As a result Nelvana entered into talks with TV Tokyo to revise the series. TV Tokyo agreed if Nelvana would be co-producer for the series and if TV Tokyo could air the episodes first. With this plan agreed upon, Nelvana announced 51 episodes of Metal Fight Beyblade with the English name Beyblade: Metal Fusion. They would premiere in Japan in 2009 and in North America in the fall of 2010. [6] As co-producers of the series Nelvana was able to create the rights for other companies. Toys were given to Tomy Company and Hasbro, and TV rights would be distributed by Nelvana. In 2010 Nelvana announced they were looking at parties interested in the fifth season of Beyblade and the second season of the Metal saga to go under the name Beyblade: Metal Masters.[7]

[edit]Film

The film was released in Japan on August 21, 2010.

It's summer vacation. In front of Ginga an Co, who are excited about a Beyblade tournament, Helios, a mysterious youth, stands in their way. In his hands, he possesses "Sol Blaze", a Beyblade that has been passed down since ancient times. As intense battle between Ginga vs. Helios unfolds, extreme weather develops throughout the world.

[edit]Video Games

The first video game to be released from the Beyblade: Metal Fusion series was Metal Fight Beyblade DS, which debuted on March 26, 2009 for the Nintendo DS.[8] Currently, the majority of the games released so far have only been released in Japan, though Hudson has localized the second Nintendo DS game and the Wii game for North America which is called Battle Fortress.[9] So far, all dedicated Metal Fight Beyblade games have been developed and published by Hudson. [10] The most recent Metal Fight Beyblade video game to be released was "Metal Fight Beyblade: Choujou Kessen! Big Bang Blader" for the DS in Japan, which was released on December 2, 2010.[11]

[edit]

Beyblade: Metal Fusion has toys, along with the other series. These type of toys now feature Metal on the outside of the Beyblades. The parts are as follow-

  • Face Bolt- These hold the Beyblade parts together (except the Performance Tip).
  • Energy Ring- The Energy Ring helps contribute to the Beyblade's power.
  • Fusion Wheel- The Fusion Wheel is the Metal that helps attack other Beyblades.
  • Spin Track- The Spin Track helps a Beyblade spin and also has it's own type (eg. Stamina, Attack).
  • Performance Tip- The Perfomance Tip is the main thing that makes the Beyblade Spin.

Lucario And The Mystery Of Mew

Here Is The Storyline:

In the legendary past, before Poké Balls were made; an aura-guiding hero Pokémon named Lucario sensed two groups of armies about to clash, and a threat of a massive war in front of Cameron Palace in Kanto that would leave no survivors. He transferred this message to his master, the legendary hero Sir Aaron, while he was being attacked by a violent group of Houndoom. During the battle, his sense of sight was lost and he was rendered unable to see. He used the detection of his Aura and so with the offensive Aura sphere, he eliminated them. Though by the threat, the queen of Cameroon, Lady Rin was resolute to die with her civilians, and so Sir Aaron made a choice. He got on his Pidgeot and traveled to the tree of beginning while he and his Pidgeot was attacked by the rival group of Skarmory, he got down on the ground and Pidgeot, being hurt, recovered on bush. After the Scene, Lucario arrived by sensing his master’s Aura. Sir Aaron then forbids him to call him “master” anymore and further tells he has abandoned the queen and the kingdom. He even swears never to return to the Kingdom again. Sir Aaron without anytime to waste, heads to his destiny; the tree of beginning; and so does Lucario who tries to come with him but Sir Aaron seals Lucario in his staff and heads of to the Tree of beginning alone. Lucario being sealed within the staff questions “Why master, Why!?” After a while, Pidgeot comes in front of the queen with only Sir Aaron’s staffs and in a second, the green light shined away from every part of crystal connected to the tree of beginning and so the queen realizes that Sir Aaron has sacrificed himself to stop the war by giving up his aura.

Many years later, after many of the wonderful inventions were created, Ash, Pikachu, Brock, May and Max arrive at Cameron Palace to celebrate the heroism of Sir Aaron. Ash wears a uniform similar to Sir Aaron's and competes in the Pokémon competition, and wins against Kidd and her Weavile. That night there is royal ball, and Ash is rewarded the hero's chair and the privilege to hold Sir Aaron's staff through the dance. Team Rocket disguise them selves and join the dance too, but Meowth runs off to follow Kidd who reveals herself as an agent seeking to capture a Mew.

The rest of the heroes' Pokémon runs off into the attic to play with the toys stored there. However Kidd's two Weavile attack when Mew joins the fun. The Pokémon are able to fight off the two Pokémon, but Mew teleports with Ash's Pikachu and Meowth of Team Rocket. Max breaks in and finds out what happened. Down below in the ball room, Ash poses like Sir Aaron and the fireworks are shot off. Right there Lucario is freed and senses Sir Aaron's aura which he soon finds it has mistaken. Lucario thinks Sir Aaron abandoned the queen a long time ago, could the legend of Sir Aaron be fake?

Max runs in and informs the rest that Pikachu and Meowth have been taken by a Mew. Team Rocket overhears him and is saddened by Meowth's disappearance. Lady Ilene, the queen of today says Mew has a tradition of showing up at the palace and take things back to its home at the Tree of Beginning. Ash and the rest, including Kidd, who Brock finally realizes is famous, head off to the Tree of Beginning with the help of Lucario. Also, Team Rocket follows by hiding in Kidd's trunk.

On their journey, they find a time flower which allows the finder to look at images of the past, and they meet a Bonsly which hitches a ride with the team of their way. That night Ash tells how much he and Pikachu have been through, like in the first episode when a flock of Spearow attacked him and Pikachu leaped in and shocked them to the ground. Lucario scolds that story and scoffs saying humans can not be trusted. Ash gets mad and tackles Lucario but ends up losing in the brawl, upsetting Lucario far worse. Max tries to cheer the Pokémon up withChocolate. The next morning Lucario encounters the same area were he was sealed in the staff. A time flower reveals Sir Aaron trapped his servant and ran off, making everyone believe Lucario in his point of view of the so called legend. Ash apologizes to Lucario for his behavior last night and begins to cry, Lucario asks Ash to promise he will not desert Pikachu.

At that moment, Regirock attacks and the everyone runs into the Tree of Beginning. Ash and Lucario split up with May, Max, Brock, and Kidd. Ash ends up getting attacked by Regice so Lucario and him decide to backtrack. Meanwhile, everyone else is attacked by Registeel and they are eaten up, except for their Pokémon, by antibodies who think humans are a disease to the Tree. Kidd is the only who survives. Ash finally reunites with Pikachu and meets Meowth and Kidd. Kidd tells Ash that his friends have been swallowed by the giant cells. Soon, Ash and Kidd get eaten up while Registeel stops Lucario from saving them. All of Ash's Pokémon, even Pikachu cry to their trainers' deaths. However, Mew decides to talk with the tree using its powers and brings everyone back.

Mew, after its performance, becomes ill. Finding that the Tree is dying, Ash, Kidd, Mew, and Lucario run into the heart of the Tree. They find Sir Aaron's suspended state, and a time flower showing that the legend was true. Ash uses Sir Aron's gloves to use aura and restore the tree back, with Lucario's help, both knowing they will die in the process. As the aura sphere gets larger and much more powerful, Lucario knocks Ash back and demands to finish the rest. The tree is restored, but Lucario only has little time left. A time flower is found once again showing Sir Aaron saying goodbye to Lucario as he dies, and sharing that he was more than his Pupil, he was his closest friend, and hopes to meet him again someday. Lucario begins to cry seeing his master pass away through the image, saying to himself that he failed his master. Ash holds Lucario's hands and says that he proved to be a guardian of aura as Sir Aaron. Lucario then dies thanking Ash for encouragement and goes to see his friend. Ash and Kidd meet May, Brock, and Max outside, who realize Lucario is not with them. Brock mentions it is hard to believe Lucario is gone, but Ash says, "He isn't gone...His aura is with me".

In the credits sequence, it is shown that Ash and co. return to the palace and they rewarded by Lady Ilene, Lucario and Sir Aaron share a chocolate bar in their distant place after death, Kidd leaves and meets with Butler and Dianne from a previous film, and Ash and his friends continue their journey.

Mario Kart Wii

We have been playing the Wii for a long time and we recommend it a LOT! It's really, REALLY fun. I've playing Mario Kart Wii for a long time and have a lot of good characters. There's a 50cc, 100cc, and 150cc (cc is cubic centimeter). I've unlocked every cup in 50cc & 100cc. It took a lot of hard work to win the 100cc cups. Here's how to unlock the 4 other cups:

Star Cup: Get a trophy in Mushroom Cup and Flower Cup.
Special Cup: Get a trophy in Star Cup.
Leaf Cup: Get a trophy in Shell Cup and Banana Cup.
Lightning Cup: Get a trophy in Leaf Cup.

On the weekends, we always play it for more than 2 hrs.! That is a lot. Some of the characters I've unlocked are Toadette, King Boo, Birdo, and Mii Outfit A. Here's how to unlock them:

Toadette: Play every course in Time Trials.
King Boo: Win 50cc Star cup.
Birdo: Play 16 different Time Trials.
Mii Outfit A: Win 100cc Special Cup(It took me more than 5 tries to unlock it!)

These are my favorite characters. If you have played the Wii, what was your experience? What cups & characters have you unlocked?

Bharat loves to play Super Mario Galaxy and always has too much fun with it...He really loves it and would like your experience on it as well. I enjoy playing Wii with my best buddy in the whole wide world - Bharat Raghavan (my little brother!).

Earth Hour Day

March 29, 2008, was Earth Hour Day. We became aware of this when we went to Google site and found the site with black background. You can get more information at "http://www7.earthhourus.org". Also the video on the site has very useful information.

We wanted to do our part....we turned the lights off from 8:00-9:00 P.M. Lucky there was light outside, or we would be in pitch dark! The reason we turned the lights off was to save electricity and save earth. We thought it was fun as well as educational!
